French Toast Casserole

Ingredients
  • 10 cups of Challah or Sourdough, cubed
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 2/3 cup of half and half
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tbsp. powdered sugar
Directions
  1. Lightly grease a 9"x13" pan
  2. Add bread to pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time mixing until fully incorporated.
  5. Stir in milk, half and half, maple syrup and vanilla.
  6. Pour mixture over bread making sure to coaat all cubes.
  7. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  8. Remove from fridge and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat over to 375°F.
  10. Bake, uncovered for 30 minutes.
  11. Sprinkle with sugar.
